From 2010 I have taken organisations through the process of acquiring ISO 9001 certification. These have been to UKAS accreditation standards.

I have been a safety manager since 1996 and have experience in a wide range of organisations, many of the organisations are classed as high-risk due to the nature of their activities.
Employees and visitors need to feel they are in a safe workplace as this helps them give their best.
I have been invited into organisations too many times following a serious accident to find that "safety" was a priority in words alone. Please, be ahead of the game, one major accident can break an organisation.
ISO 45001 when implemented well, will not prevent accidents, however, it will help you minimise the chance of an accident, and can help reduce the severity should an accident occur.
